RAPAPORT LAW FIRM’S ACTIVE LAWSUITS INVOLVING CLAIMS FOR LATE PAYMENT OF WAGES UNDER NEW YORK LABOR LAW § 191(1)(a)(i)

Pineda v. Big City Realty Management, LLC et al.

This putative wage collective and class action lawsuit is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Plaintiff alleges that the defendants, a residential real estate enterprise with buildings in Upper Manhattan, failed to pay premium overtime wages to superintendents and porters.  The lawsuit also alleges that Big City Realty violated New York law by not paying superintendents and porters on a weekly basis.

Jarvis v. The G Service Group, LLC, New City Management and Oz Levy

This putative class action lawsuit is currently pending in the New York State Supreme Court, New York County.  Plaintiff alleges that The G Service Group failed to pay legally-mandated prevailing wages to porters and superintendents. The lawsuit also alleges that The G Service Group did not pay Plaintiff within the time period and intervals required by NYLL § 191(1)(a).  Instead, Defendants unlawfully paid Plaintiff bi-weekly.

Colon v. Yaaron LLC, Aaron Jungreis, and Meir Rothman

This putative collective and class action lawsuit is currently pending in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.  Plaintiffs allege that the defendants, a residential real estate enterprise with buildings in Upper Manhattan, failed to pay overtime to superintendents and porters.  Plaintiffs also allege that the Defendants did not pay manual workers within the time period and intervals required by NYLL § 191(1)(a), and instead paid Plaintiffs and members of the NYLL Class on a bi-weekly basis.

Sierra v. Exela Enterprise Solutions, Inc. et al.

This putative class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of reprographics workers.  Plaintiffs demand liquidated damages for late payment of wages.
